Senior Quality Control Engineer

Company: Tiba Contracting

Project Location : Cairo

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.

  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports.

  • Ensure all work meets the contract specifications and standard.

  • Ensure all materials meet the contract specifications.

  • Coordinate and schedule field testing and performance QA/QC inspections.

  • Monitor construction activities and materials delivered to the site.

  • Review all special inspection and material testing perform by third parties.

  • Document all inspection and testing in QC reports.

  • Working with operating staff to establish standards, systems and procedures

  • Recording, analyzing and distributing statistical information

  • Monitoring performance

  • The daily Report for site work.

  • Performs tests or verifies that the problem was repaired or corrected.

  • Performs as resident inspector during the site activity progress

  • Coordinating all technical specification requirements with Technical Support engineers.

  • Managing projects logs (E1, E2, IR, NCR, etc.)

  • prepare method statement & ITP related to the project activities

  • prepare work release forms before starting new activities

  • Prepare all documents related to the project TOC

  • handing over all IR to the project consultant

  • reviews subcontracts invoices in terms of progress percentage and IR

  • prepare progress sheets related to client invoices in coordination with the project consultant

  • Ensure that all subcontractors manpower are being followed and apply withheld amounts as per contract conditions.

Qualifications
:

  • 4-6 years of Experience as Quality Control Engineer in Construction, Finishing and Fit out projects
  • Bachelor of Civil/ Architecture Engineering
