Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Technical Office engineer, located in Nasr City. The technical office will be responsible for providing technical support in lighting system design, preparing shop drawings, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating between the sales, design, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare lighting layouts, shop drawings, and technical submittals according to project requirements.
  • Review and analyze project specifications, BOQs, and tender documents.
  • Coordinate with sales and design teams to provide accurate technical support for lighting products and solutions.
  • Select suitable lighting fixtures based on project type, illumination level, and efficiency.
  • Prepare material take-off sheets and assist in pricing and technical proposals.
  • Communicate with suppliers and manufacturers for product selection and technical data verification.
  • Provide technical support to the project site and assist in resolving lighting installation issues.
  • Ensure all drawings and documentation meet company and client standards.

  • Follow up on project progress and ensure all deliverables are submitted on time.

  • Qualification:

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Electrical Power Engineering
    or a related field.
  • 0-1 years of experience in
    lighting design or technical office work
    within the electrical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lighting systems, fixtures, and design standards.
  • Proficiency in
    AutoCAD
    ,
    Dialux
    , and
    MS Office
    applications.
  • Good understanding of electrical drawings and load schedules.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • English proficiency
    is required.
