**About the Role:**

We are seeking a **Network Automation Developer** with advanced expertise in **Cisco Network Services Orchestrator (NSO)** to design, develop, and maintain network automation services. You will collaborate with network architects and operations teams to transform complex networking requirements into automated, scalable, and reliable NSO-based solutions.

This is a **part-time position** ideal for experienced professionals based in **Egypt** who want to make a strong technical impact while maintaining flexible working hours.


**Key Responsibilities:**

* Design, develop, and enhance **Cisco NSO service packages** (CB-NET, LSA, and CDB-based architectures).

* Develop **YANG models**, **Python automation logic**, and **template-driven service definitions**.

* Integrate NSO with OSS/BSS systems and other platforms using **RESTCONF**, **NETCONF**, **gRPC**, or **message bus** interfaces.

* Optimize service models for scalability, performance, and maintainability.

* Collaborate with network engineering teams to automate provisioning, configuration, and service assurance workflows.

* Build reusable libraries, automated test frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines for NSO services.

* Troubleshoot NSO-related issues involving service logic, device integrations, and transactional errors.

* Document automation designs, best practices, and operational guidelines.


**Required Qualifications:**

* **5+ years** of experience in **network automation** or **software-defined networking (SDN)**.

* **3+ years** of proven experience developing and deploying **Cisco NSO services**.

* Strong skills in **Python**, **YANG**, **XML**, **JSON**, and **REST APIs**.

* Deep understanding of **network configuration protocols** (NETCONF, RESTCONF, CLI, SNMP).

* Experience working in **multi-vendor network environments** (Cisco, Juniper, Nokia, etc.).

* Knowledge of **service lifecycle management**, **device templates**, and **service models**.

* Familiarity with **Git**, **CI/CD tools**, and **version-controlled workflows**.

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


**Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):**

* Knowledge of **Cisco Crosswork Network Controller (CNC)** and its integration with NSO.

* Experience integrating NSO with **Ansible**, **Terraform**, or **Jenkins**.

* Understanding of **NFV/SDN orchestration frameworks** and **multi-domain automation**.

* Experience deploying **NSO in cloud-native environments** (Docker, Kubernetes).

* Good understanding of **IP/MPLS**, **VPNs**, **routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)**, and **QoS**.

* Cisco certifications such as **DevNet Professional**, **CCNP**, or **NSO Developer Specialist**.


**Work Schedule:**

* **Part-Time:** 15–20 hours per week (flexible hours).
