Production Section Head

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities to meet production schedules and targets.
  • Lead and motivate production teams to ensure adherence to GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards.
  • Monitor and analyze production KPIs such as OEE, yield, waste, and downtime, and implement improvement plans.
  • Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth operations and product availability.
  • Identify and address production bottlenecks, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal efficiency.
  • Ensure that all production processes comply with ISO standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce cost.
  • Maintain proper documentation of production reports, shift activities, and operational performance.
  • Manage workforce scheduling, training, and performance evaluation for operators and supervisors.
  • Ensure a safe working environment and promote safety awareness among team members.
  • Participate in new product launches, process trials, and commissioning of new equipment..

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a utility or maintenance role within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, and water treatment systems.
  • Experience with PLC-controlled systems is a plus.
  • Good command of English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent problem-solving, anBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial, or Food Technology.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in production management within an FMCG or food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, process control, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience in managing teams and achieving production targets under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good command of English and computer literacy (MS Office, ERP systems).
