Solution Architect Sustainability

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Solution Architect Sustainability for one of our partners, a global leader in the food and services industry.

Job Summary:

The Solutions Architect is accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio. The Solution Architect will be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. product managers, product analysts, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to the architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits). Within the solution development lifecycle this role will be accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case. He will provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases driving alignment with and adoption of architecture guiding principles, reference architectures and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Support for product managers in managing the E2E product lifecycle, covering business, information, data, systems, financials, delivery, and maintenance.​
• Product roadmap for prioritized business capabilities aligned with Platform Architecture, technology and integration roadmaps for products.​
• Digital product line strategies: migration and release.​
• Functional/technical specifications from business requirements, including effort estimation, simplification, and standardization.​
• Backlog prioritization support for product managers, including PI objective definition and delivery sequencing.​
• Enabler features and user stories: technology, security, interfaces; definition of done and capacity allocation.​
• Component architecture documentation: infrastructure, environment, integration diagrams; data model and sequence, data flow diagram.​
• Code architecture documentation: CI/CD pipelines and code repositories.​
• Specifications for configuration and development teams; digital product verification for architecture alignment.​
• Catalogues maintenance (integration, data) reflecting current and planned states.​
• Digital product data model consistent with Platform and Enterprise data models.​
• UI/UX solution alignment with expert/vendor, product owner, business stakeholders, and countries; A/B testing when appropriate.​
• Quality gates passed with end-to-end quality engineering mindset, corrective actions and compliance assurance.​
• Regular, reliable releases to production following DevSecOps best practices, without business disruption.​
• Technological advancements incorporation in product design for value generation, user experience, scalability, and supportability.​
• Proof of concept and prototyping approaches in cases of uncertainty.​
• Adoption of new development models, including DevSecOps.

• University degree in a relevant area or equivalent work experience ​

• Minimum 4 years of working experience in SAP / S4 area & at least 2 years of experience in ESG Platforms [Solution]

• English Proficiency
• Experience in complex multinational environments, with various market specifics throughout EMEA
• Technical expertise: Excellent command of the specific technologies and software used​ (SAP / S4, ESG Platform)
• Continuous learning and innovation: Actively staying informed about and applying advancements in technologies to drive value​
• Architectural design: proven ability to design scalable, reliable and secure solutions in line with platform architectures​
• Integration skills: Hands-on experience in integrating various systems to ensure seamless operation, in line with platform integration strategy​ (e.g. via API)
• Customer focus: business acumen matched with proficiency in analysing business requirements and ability to design business solutions based on requirements​
• Conceptual Thinking: Ability to evolve conceptual architectures into implementable designs, ensuring cohesive integration and management of dependencies​
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and agile delivery (DevSecOps)​
• Project management: Experience in planning, executing, and monitoring solution development efforts​
• Communication and collaboration: very good communication skills esp. of design ideas and business processes, collaboration proficiency, esp. with technical resources (developers, configuration)​
• Diligence in preparing design documentation and updating architecture catalogues/repositories​ (e.g. ARDOQ)
• Vendor management​ (Vendor selection, contracting, collaboration)
• Familiarity with Salesforce data security and privacy measures. In general, familiarity with network protocols, security, and best practices is a plus.
• Knowledge of data modelling and data warehouse solutions, i.e. Azure. Experience with Data Cloud implementations, ETL tools, and data transformation strategies.
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience and ability to coordinate migrations/implementation of changes between the different Application environments (i.e., Development, Test, and Production). Experience with CI / CD concepts and platforms/tools
• Advantage: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Application Architect, System Architect, or Technical Architect)
