Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior sous Chef based in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Sous Chef will report to the Executive Chef and be in charge of a trendy, modern resto-bar outlet, overseeing daily kitchen operations, managing the outlet kitchen team, and ensuring high-standard food preparation and presentation. Responsibilities also include menu development, inventory management, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and adhering to food safety regulations.

Requirements:

Experience in Eastern Mediterranean cuisines with a flair for international dishes.

Proven skills in menu development and food presentation.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards.

Expertise in inventory management and cost control.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Professional culinary education or certification is a plus.

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role within a reputable hotel or high-quality restaurant.
