Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and own project timelines, key milestones, and risk mitigation plans.

  2. Manage project execution against aligned project scope and committed timelines. Escalate risks, delays, or scope changes to stakeholders.

  3. Manage project through end-to-end process, aligning with stakeholders and gaining approvals at each project gate.

  4. Lead project team meetings, taking notes and communicating project status and actions to team members

  5. Manage risk identification and mitigation plans to achieve project objectives

  6. Collaborate with multifunctional core teams (RD&E, Design, Marketing, Marketing Research, and Product Supply) to successfully identify, develop and launch new products in an accelerated manner.

  7. Lead technical feasibility exploration as a technical lead for projects that begin in early ideation or development phases.

Functional Skills and Expertise:

  1. Experience in Project Management in R&D, manufacturing or supply chain.

  2. Working knowledge of projects of different strategic intents i.e. new product development, cost savings, business continuity, etc.

  3. Technical curiosity to investigate the source of issues & opportunities, while providing creative ideas, quality of work, and speed through a results-oriented approach.

  4. Ability to identify risks and interdependencies in timelines to develop effective mitigation plans.

  5. Project Management systems experience, including Microsoft Project, SAP/PLM, and use of risk management tools.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

Bachelor of Science or a related engineering field, with 2+ years of project management experience.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  1. In-depth knowledge of product development process and experience related to various delivery system technologies is considered a plus (e.g., aerosols, rigid plastics, flexible films, blister packs, paperboard cartons, etc.)

  2. Ability to define and build alignment from technical stakeholders around an effective research plan.

  3. Demonstrated capability to handle multiple projects/programs concurrently

  4. Experience with directing the efforts of external vendors and consultants is preferred.
