We are looking to hire a General Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in general accounting, accounts payable, and inventory operations. Candidates with a procurement background, especially within the agriculture or fertilizers sector, will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily general accounting entries and ensure accuracy in financial records.

Manage accounts payable, including vendor reconciliation and invoice verification.

Monitor inventory transactions, stock adjustments, and coordination with the warehouse team.

Support monthly and annual closing activities and financial reporting.

Assist in reviewing and verifying purchasing documents (POs, GRNs, supplier invoices).

Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams regarding material receipts and pricing.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Min. 5 years of experience in general accounting.

Strong knowledge of AP and inventory accounting.

Experience or understanding of procurement processes (preferred).

Background in the agriculture / fertilizers sector is a strong plus.

Good command of MS Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience preferred).
