Position Summary

Monitor and track budget usage for TV and HA sales, marketing and promotional activities.

Role and Responsibilities

Budget Monitoring & Control:
Monitor and track budget usage across TV and HA sales, marketing, and promotional activities.
Ensure spending remains within approved budgets and raise alerts on variances.

Accrual Review & Validation:
Review accrual calculations submitted by Sales, PM, and Trade Marketing teams to ensure financial correctness and proper documentation.
Work closely with Finance and Business Intelligence to ensure accurate month-end provisions.

Cost Structure Review (Support Function):
Review proposed cost structures from commercial teams to validate their financial accuracy and consistency with internal guidelines.
Ensure that cost breakdowns are logically and mathematically correct but do not participate in building or pricing decisions.

Reporting & Analysis:
Generate regular budget tracking reports, dashboards, and summaries to support the Business Intelligence team and senior management.
Conduct variance analysis and flag risks or opportunities in spending patterns.

Cross-functional Collaboration:
Provide financial monitoring support to Sales, Product Management, and Trade Marketing teams for ongoing programs and campaigns.

Help unify and standardize budget documentation and reporting across departments.

Tax Compliance Awareness:
Understand and apply basic input and output tax principles relevant to promotional spending and accruals.
Coordinate with Finance to ensure tax-compliant documentation is maintained.
Governance & Internal Controls:
Follow internal control procedures and ensure compliance with audit requirements regarding budget usage and documentation.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree from a reputable university.

  • 5-8 years' of related experience.

  • MS Office Advanced Skills.

  • Excellent Reporting & Analysis skills.

  • Excellent Logical and analytical thinking.
