About the Job

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and results-oriented E-commerce Director to lead their digital sales and business development efforts. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive e-sales strategy, managing the entire sales cycle, and building and mentoring a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the digital marketing industry, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to drive significant revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a robust e-sales strategy to identify new business opportunities, target key accounts, and expand market share in the digital marketing space.
• Revenue Growth: Directly contribute to and oversee all revenue-generating activities, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
• Team Leadership: Build, train, and mentor a team of e-sales professionals. Set clear performance goals, provide ongoing coaching, and foster a culture of success and accountability.
• Sales Cycle Management: Take ownership of the entire e-sales pipeline, from initial contact to post-sale handoff, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new opportunities and inform the sales strategy.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their business needs and propose effective digital solutions.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing Director and other department heads to ensure sales strategies are aligned with service delivery capabilities and company goals.
• Performance Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on key sales metrics, providing regular updates to senior management on pipeline health, revenue forecasts, and team performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in sales or business development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the digital marketing or tech industry.
• Proven Track Record: A history of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.
• Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to build, manage, and inspire a high-performing sales team.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and e-commerce.
• Strategic Thinking: The ability to develop a comprehensive sales strategy, identify market opportunities, and execute a plan to achieve business objectives.
• Client-Facing Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree (MBA) is preferred
