In Egypt, Siemens Mobility is delivering one of the country's first high-speed rail system. This landmark project, spanning approximately 2,000 kilometers, will connect 60 cities across Egypt, transforming transportation for both passengers and goods. Today, we are recruiting for a
Commissioning Engineer
to join our Rolling Stock team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What are my responsibilities?

  • Learn to perform static and dynamic routine testing on rail vehicles.
  • Assist in identifying and repairing faults under supervision.
  • Support switching operations on vehicles in coordination with senior technicians.
  • Participate in software loading activities and learn to follow technical instructions.
  • Help document testing results and error logs using digital tools.
  • Follow safety and quality standards and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Engage in team discussions to share knowledge and improve processes.

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Willingness to learn Siemens-specific software and hardware.
  • Strong interest in rail technology and sustainable mobility.
  • Reliable, flexible and able to work in a team environment.
  • Comfortable using digital tools (tablets, apps, laptops).
  • Fluent in English and Arabic is a must.
