Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger.

Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.

Manage customer invoicing and collections, following up on overdue accounts.

Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and internal records.

Investigate discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.

Provide data analysis to support budgeting and forecasting activities.

Track inventory levels and costs associated with production.

10.  Assist in the valuation of inventory and ensure proper accounting treatment.

11.   Support the preparation of sales tax returns and other regulatory filings.

12.  Ensure compliance with local tax regulations.

13.   Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

14.  Implement recommendations from audit findings to improve processes.

15.   Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and enhancing efficiency.

16.  Collaborate with team members to implement best practices in financial management.

17.   Work closely with other departments (e.g., production, sales) to provide financial insights that support business operations.

  • Participate in cross-functional projects as needed.

Job Requirement

  • University degree in accounting, finance, or related field;
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or furniture industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
