Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced workshop engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our workshop, ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and in good working condition. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the maintenance and repair of all equipment and machinery in the workshop - Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner - Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery - Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed by workshop staff - Manage a team of technicians and mechanics, providing guidance and support as needed - Monitor inventory levels and order necessary supplies and parts - Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects - Continuously look for ways to improve workshop operations and efficiency - Train new employees on workshop procedures and safety protocols Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems - Proven experience in managing a team of technicians and mechanics - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills - Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications - Valid driver's license and clean driving record We Offer: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional growth and development - A collaborative and supportive work environment - Chance to work on a variety of projects and gain valuable experience If you are a skilled workshop engineer looking for a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
