The team you’ll be part of

We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our care team based in Cairo/Egypt

As a Support Engineer you will be responsible for planning and executing technical tasks to support our customers.

In this role you will be working in a team, but you will be autonomously able to solve the customer issues and accommodate their requests according to Nokia Processes.

Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will:

- Plans and executes technical tasks requiring specialist skills in own professional area.
- Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes.
- Identifies and solves technical problems.
- Plan, design, test, execute, analyse, and report on process improvements to gain fastest troubleshooting.
- Support areas by participating in emergency 24/7 duty.

Your skills and experience

You have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication,
- Knowledge and well understanding of core network elements 2G/3G/4G, IMS knowledge is additional
- Analytical troubleshooting skills

It would be nice if you also had:

- IP Networks Knowledge
- Knowledge with Protocol Analyzer Tools (Wireshark, Tektronics etc.) and internal message flow protocols.
- Unix/Linux knowledge
- Good team player
- Ability to work under pressure
- Willingness to continuous learning
- Ability to work independently
