Based in Egypt, the Corporate Services Lead will be responsible for all local regulatory activities including directorship services, HR/payroll administration, accounting and tax compliance. This is a unique opportunity to join a global team of corporate services professionals and develop experience across multiple back-office functions.

**Job Summary**
- Manage all tax compliance obligations and filing requirements for the Egypt legal entity, including:

- Egypt VAT returns, WHT filings and issuance of certificates, annual corporate tax return and tax provisions.
- Preparation of bank payments including arranging signatures and visits to the bank.
- Tax account general ledger reconciliations and turnover reconciliations with timely investigation and clearance of reconciling items.
- Support the accounting and audit process for Tax liabilities/receivables for financial reporting.
- Support handling of any tax audits and enquiries.
- Support Global Legal and HR teams with local country administration including:

- Local Directorship services
- Translation and update of documents into Arabic/English.
- Arranging for in country signatures and shipment of documents.
- Obtaining references for Bank, Visa, and Social Insurance.
- Completion of new starter forms and documents and consult with external payroll provider.
- Support Global Accounting team with the annual statutory audit and financial statements completion.
- Support other adhoc Corporate services tasks/projects as needed including identifying and implementing process improvements or managing new local regulatory requirements.
- Support with local country advisory matters including tax and employment law, consulting with external advisors where appropriate.
- Ensure adherence to internal control requirements of the Company.

**Qualifications**
- Professional accounting and/or tax qualifications with significant Egypt tax experience gained with a leading accountancy firm or an in-house multinational tax team.
- Strong Arabic and English language skills
- HR/Payroll experience is a bonus.
- Experience/willingness to provide local directorship services is beneficial.
- Organised and methodical individual, with the ability to plan and organise work effectively, delivering to deadlines.
- Excellent communicator, both verbally and written, adopting the most appropriate medium for the situation.
- Analytical, innovative, with good research and critical thinking skills.
