**BRAND MANAGER**

**What this position is about - Purpose**

The incumbent is responsible for formulating and proposing the in-market strategic objectives & directions for the managed brand(s) and translating these strategies into annual plans and programs. You will work closely with Strategic Insights, the Operations team (Field Management, Demand/Commercial Planning, Consumer Engagement, etc.), and other relevant internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement effective brand communication & activation campaigns. He/she will ensure that all brand programs align with the brand/portfolio and overall market business objectives and are executed in line with all the internal guidelines and policies.

**What will you do - Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, analyze & report on market/JTI & competition performance (SOM, SOS, Volume, Distribution) as well as consumer insight trends highlighting areas of opportunity and key challenges in order to develop and propose brand objectives & strategies. Ensure brand objectives and strategies are successfully translated into integrated consumer and trade programs in an efficient and effective manner (i.e. taking into account ROI)
- Provide input and directions for all business updates (LE, BR, A&SP) including portfolio strategy, objective setting and proposal pricing strategies, and allocation of annual budget. Monitor brand performance against planned KPIs and recommend modification(s) in order to ensure the achievement of targets and/or propose corrective actions
- Close collaboration with internal (SI, NPD, GBS, field marketing, corporate affairs, legal, finance, etc.) and external (communication, activation, digital agencies) stakeholders to ensure the timely developments and successful implementation of campaigns
- Liaise closely with Brand Groups, providing input to HQ and local needs as well as managing ad-hoc requests from the key market, regional, and HQ stakeholders
- Coordinate all brand-elated processes (i.e. PLM, MEMO/BAP, etc.) in line with JTI operating guidelines & global brand guidelines and ensure compliance. Solid knowledge of the company's Policies & Procedures and consistent assurance of compliance with them
- People management: Strengthen business & commercial thinking across the organization by establishing and nurturing effective communication flows, promoting the culture of dialogue and cross-functional collaboration with the rest of the departments

**Whom are we looking for - Requirements**:

- University degree in marketing, business, or equivalent
- Fluency in English and Arabic
- Minimum 5 years in Marketing and Trade Marketing positions (preferably FMCG) with brand management experience as a must (preferably international brands)
- Experience in developing & executing brand strategies, B2B & B2C communication and activation campaigns, POSM development, print & production, budget planning and control
- Achievement-oriented, customer-centric, growth mindset, team player
