**dopay** is looking for an enthusiastic **Head of People** in Egypt to build and lead its HR team. You will play a key role in delivering strategic focus to recruitment, company culture and talent management.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a managerial experience to work at a fast-growing fintech company and advance their career.
You will report to the CEO and collaborate with different members of the Management Team across different countries.
**About the team**
The HR function is currently the responsibility of the CFO. It is your job to build a HR team that is pivotal to how we support our people and manage a seamless experience for them each day. This starts from the very first point we connect with new joiners.
**Requirements**:
**What you will do**
- Develop a strong employer brand for dopay to attract talented people
- Create fitting, modern and fast hiring strategies
- Manage external recruitment partners
- Develop and implement a highly effective - partially digital - on-boarding process and new employee orientation program
- Develop and implement globally aligned recruitment, talent management and retention strategies
- Develop and implement a succession planning strategy
- Further develop global mobility process and maintain global view of talent
- Leverage opportunities to transfer key talent around the business
- Leadership of training and development and the ongoing, long-term improvement of employees
- Manage and continuously improve the appraisal and performance management process
- Influence and drive People and Culture initiatives throughout the organization to ensure the organisation operates strategically, efficiently, proactively, and collaboratively
- Promote the concepts of equality of opportunity and managing diversity company wide
- Evaluate and report on the effectiveness of employee compensation and benefits programmes
- Track compensation and benefits bench-marking data and drive improvements to attract high quality employees and reduce turnover. Align global rewards and recognition programmes
- Ensure consistency of approach across the HR global function and alignment of key people processes
- Provide professional advice to the Management Team on both strategic and operational HR issues
- Management and development of the HR officers
- Building the HR team that is needed to scale
- Ensure dopay is compliant with all Employment Legislation in each country that it operates, including all Bank regulations, equal rights, discrimination etc.
**What you will need**
- Extensive HR experience (5-10 years) in a global environment and international offices
- Proven track record of building and improving HR and the employee experience at high growth organizations
- Experience in Fintech is a plus
- Experience in working in Egypt/Middle East is a plus
- Ability to learn fast and adapt is key
