**About The Role**:
As a **Commercial Development Manager **you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the business growth, in addition to supporting the business development team of our organization. You will play a pivotal role in driving growth, expanding our client base, and securing new business opportunities.
**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:
- Developing industry penetration strategy and identify gaps and opportunities.
- Studying target Industry and specific target accounts to develop a business development report prior to approach or meeting setting with said accounts.
- Supervising research efforts by the team, particularly on targeted accounts, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Assist in following up on new business opportunities and setting meetings.
- Attend and participate in business meetings as applicable.
- Crafting comprehensive proposals and necessary documentation for Requests for Proposals (RFP) in diverse sectors like telecom, banking, and governmental domains.
- Developing proposals tailored for both targeted and existing clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Assist in the relationship management communications of the portfolio of existing accounts and potential accounts.
- Assist on closing business partnerships with target clients and achieving set KPIs.
- Performs internal and external quality assurance on newly contracted accounts by following up on the key features of the contractual agreement.
- Forecasting and preparing the budget for the company's new business endeavors.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to contribute to the company's scalability strategy.
- Creating essential presales documents to support the business development team throughout the sales process.
- Cultivating and managing relationships with strategic accounts, aiming to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Working closely with various teams to drive and execute strategic initiatives, fostering a cohesive organizational approach.
- Prepare weekly & monthly commercial reports detailing presales and business. development challenges, efforts, and achievements, in comparison to the company's predefined targets.
- Leading and managing a dynamic team of commercial development (presales) professionals to achieve collective and individual goals.
- Providing guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering professional growth and skill development.
- Conducting regular team meetings to align objectives, share insights, and address challenges.
- Overseeing the assignment of research tasks and projects, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in achieving strategic goals.
- Setting performance metrics and targets for team members, monitoring progress, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Ensuring effective communication within the team and promoting a results-driven and client-focused mindset.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration between the commercial development team and other departments to streamline processes and achieve organizational objectives.
- Spearheading initiatives to enhance team efficiency, effectiveness, and overall contribution to the company's success.
- Acting as a liaison between senior management and the commercial development team, ensuring clear communication of goals and expectations.
**Requirements**:
**Required Skills &Abilities**:
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Fluent in both English and Arabic, French language is a plus.
**Education & Experience**:
- 5-8 years of experience in business or sales development.
- BSc/BA in business administration, finance, economics or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus.
- Proven experience in Presales & Business Development.
- In-depth knowledge of Sector industries.
- Exposure in working on key accounts.
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset.
