**Responsibilities**:
As Senior Supplier Operations Manager you will be responsible for a strong and highly engaged team of Supplier Operations Managers
- and Specialists, in total 18 team members and 8 directs reports. You will also be the supplier material in-bound responsible for the direct materials used in our frequency converters, which are used in our Graasten manufacturing facility.

Furthermore, your responsibilities are:

- Drive the development and implementation of the Supplier Operations Strategy:

- Continue to improve our material flow by use of data and execution of pro-active activities.
- In close dialog with suppliers, continuously improve supplier performance on availability, delivery time, VMI-setups, and quality.
- In close dialog with our local engineering center drive and support design change implementations, lead re-sourcing, and dual sourcing activities (supplier selections, creation and maintenance of ERP main data, coordination of ramp up/ramp down of materials and PPAP approvals etc.)
- Ensure the best practice use of SAP HANA and Team Center PLM, supporting systems and tools for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in our daily operation.
- Support and maintain the development of India back-office activities.

Leadership responsibilities:

- Encourage Danfoss behaviors and lead by example. You develop the team and individuals, and practice strong leadership to ensure high engagement and performance.
- You drive activities through your employees, and you use your knowledge network for ideas, which can support you and your team’s daily work.
- Support your team in negotiation of Logistics Agreements (SLA, Lead Time Reduction, MOQ, Stocking Agreements, Capacity, Flexibility) with external suppliers in coordination with Category Management
- Support escalations and participate in relevant supplier meetings activities (e.g., critical delivery issues, negotiations, etc.)

Additionally, we are looking for a person with:

- Minimum a bachelor’s degree, ideally in Logistic/Commercial or Engineering, and preferable a leadership diploma or equivalent.
- Background within Procurement and or in other areas of the supply chain.
- Minimum 3 years of people leadership experience.
- A good understanding of SAP/supporting material flows.
- Fluent in English both verbal and written.
