Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

NOK Human Capital is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager to join one of the most well-known distribution companies for oil & gas lubricants internationally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Supply Chain team by setting objectives, motivating, and monitoring team performance to ensure growth and development for team members and department performance.
  • Analyze Supply Chain processes, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and develop SOPs to ensure compliance related to key supply chain requirements such as purchasing, supplier qualifications, logistics, distribution, and inventory management.
  • Control and create supply chain plans and reports to ensure the highest efficiency level in logistics, inventory management, and sourcing.
  • Ensure safe practices for all supply chain activities according to set safety procedures.
  • Ensure synergy between supply chain acquisitions and production needs, planning for high production OTIF.
  • Monitor communication and negotiation with existing and new vendors to sustain a steady feedstock at the best rates.
  • Monitor all logistical operations to ensure smooth on-time deliveries.
  • Monitor inventory activities to ensure product availability, safety/buffer stocks, and reduce/eliminate slow-moving stocks.
  • Lead cost optimization projects until saturation level, providing excellent customer service.
  • Lead corrective and preventive actions to help the organization achieve its objectives.
  • Effective reporting for top management regarding contract inventory level, cost inputs, purchased items, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with other departments (sales, finance, and marketing) to develop and identify cost-saving business opportunities.
  • Set crisis and risk management procedures covering every possible risk in all supply chain aspects.
  • Monitor documentation process across supply chain different functions according to company quality assurance standards and record all supply chain performance.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate degree
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, logistics, or a related field preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in SAP and MS Office
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills
