Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Investment Analyst to join our team in Cairo, Egypt. The successful candidate will provide analytical support to project teams, conduct financial modeling, and assist in business development efforts.

About the Role

The Investment Analyst will work closely with IFC's Investment Officers, supporting the design, negotiation, structuring, and supervision of investment projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing analytical support to project teams
  • Developing and analyzing financial models
  • Reviewing and analyzing historical and projected financial statements
  • Conducting industry and market research
  • Preparing pitchbooks and proposals for clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree from a reputable university (preferably in Finance, Business, or Economics)
  • Experience in a financial institution (2+ years) with a proven track record
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and ability to develop complex financial models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work successfully in multicultural teams
