The American University in Cairo invites applications for a full-time position as a lecturer in biological psychology. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses related to physiological psychology, introductory and methods courses in biology and psychology, and develop new specialized topical courses.
As a joint appointment between the Departments of Biology and Psychology, the candidate is anticipated to actively contribute to interdisciplinary research programs, student research mentoring, and training. A strong track record or potential for attracting research funding is highly desirable.
Candidates with experience in higher education systems are preferred. The initial appointment is renewable after a successful review.
