**Person Specification**
- To comply with Egyptian employment law, applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status and a MINIMUM of three years teaching experience post-QTS;.
- enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a genuine passion for teaching in the Early Years, who can motivate and inspire students using a variety of strategies;
- includes conducting baseline assessment, on-going assessment, culminating in assessment against the Early Learning Goals;
- considers the individual needs, interests, and development of each child in the class, and use this information to plan a challenging and enjoyable experience in all areas of learning and development;
- works as a member of a team in a collaborative manner;
- committed to her/his own professional development;
- enjoys the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities;
- meets our child protection and safeguarding requirements in full.

**Remuneration**

The British International School, Cairo (BISC) offers a highly competitive tax free salary, paid entirely in Pound Sterling and directly into a UK bank account.

In addition, expat teachers benefit from a generous housing allowance, private BUPA Gold medical insurance which includes family dependents, annual return flights to the UK, and 2 free places for children of school age.
