We are currently recruiting a temp base Accountant with fixed term contract (2 years). This is an exciting opportunity for someone with the right accountancy skills to take ownership of our accounting tasks in Egypt to ensure controls are in place and our finance operation is running smoothly.

Your Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
**Preparation of**:
Reinsurance Balance Reconciliations including Reinsurance account settlements.

Monthly reconciliation of premium due from brokers, cedants, agents and customers

Statement of monthly investments and investment income

All other monthly/quarterly submissions

Submissions to Government Departments and Trade Bodies

Aged Balances analysis and correspondence for premium collection

Outward and inward remittance documents including Proceed Realization Certificates.

Tax audit preparation.

**Qualifications**:
What skills & experience are required?

Understanding of and experience in preparing and submitting month end and year end finance documentation

Proven experience in accounting field preferably in General insurance industry.

Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting
- preferably English section.

Qualified accountant or about to be qualified is advantageous.

Fluent in English language (Writing & speaking).

Excellent Microsoft skills (word, excel, etc.).

Accurate knowledge of Insurance related regulations, procedures & reporting from accounting and finance perspective.

Good time Management skills and able to work under pressure.

A great teammate with principles of integrity, honesty and ethics.
