**What you’ll do**:
**Role Purpose/Business Unit**:
Responsible of Engineering of Radio Access Network and delivering new solutions, focusing on vendors’ software related products.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Continuous optimization of RAN network performance to achieve/exceed target KPIs.
- Investigate results of benchmarking activities on network level and develop RAN solutions for continuous network improvements.
- Be up to date with the latest RAN products in the industry and timely introduce relevant products.
- Proactive estimation of network issues and propose solution.
- Product owner of multiple RAN solutions/services.
- Lead services’ offers by the vendors from service design until delivery.
- End to end understanding of network topology and lead investigation of complex issues.
- Introduce new features to the network and assess their performance.
- Compare products of multiple vendors from various aspects.
- Deep understanding of data analytics and forecasting for network capacity planning.
- Study network architecture and develop an evolution path.

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- BSC in electrical communications.
- 7-12 years of relevant experience.

**Core competencies, knowledge, and experience**:
- Logging tools like TEMS and SWISSQUAL.
- Expert in GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR technologies.
- Data analysis.
- Statistical tools.
- Knowledge of several vendors system.
- MBA/MSC is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of transport networks and IP/TCP protocol.
- Programing languages (e.g. C++, python & perl)

**Who you are**:

- Influences strategic decision making related to Network transformation decisions, related to the planning, deployment and optimization of Networks and service enablers to support the achievement of the Network strategy;
- Leads the delivery of the development and assessment of Network systems / services and optimisation in line with the principles, standards and designs;
- Uses advanced analytical thought across the network perspective, instigating and leading projects form a Network perspective that improve Network integration effectiveness;
- Leads and manages a team of Network Development and Engineering professionals, sets direction for the Network and aligns Network Developments team/s to ensure long term Network quality, effectiveness, competitiveness and reliability;
- Leads and develops a team through clear objective and target setting for performance and career development;
- Manages projects, within the roadmap, taking into account the directional guidance of the strategic (1 -3 year) plan, managing risks, escalations and exceptions, and complex interfaces;
- Uses evaluative judgement to resolve complex or novel design, planning, deployment and optimization challenges across the network development and engineering area;
- Builds solid relations and works closely with suppliers, Technology vendors and internal functions;
- Demonstrates solid communication skills and works with senior leaders across the Network function and other key stakeholders to ensure development is undertaken in line with the overall strategy and architecture and is fit for deployment;
- May have accountability for budget in area.
