Development, SYS/SW testing, SYS/SW Quality to be able to balance innovation with on time delivery.

Your mission as a senior quality engineer is to deploy your extensive experience on planning and performing Quality management activities for SYS/SW scope as defined in the organizational Quality strategy.

You are a self-starter and can work autonomously to manage schedule, resourcing, and scope, and are a custodian of alignment, both vertical and horizontal. **Responsibilities**:
1. Manage the quality in project for SYS/SW Scope:
a. Define SYS/SW Quality Targets of the project. Plan SYS/SW QA activities in collaboration with the SYS & SW Project Management and Project Quality Lead to reach the Quality targets of the project. Monitor the progress of Quality activities.

b. Perform the SYS/SW Milestone Quality Audits (CheckPoints)

c. Identify Quality deviations and risks. Monitors that SYS/SW project risks are properly assessed and managed. Track issues until closure. Escalate roadblocks to the management.

d. Manage Project Improvement Plans for ensuring the resolution of quality non-conformities as part of the standardization cycle.

2. Assess, support and report the conformity with SYS/SW development processes and applicable standards

a. Approve process tailoring vs. Valeo process frameworks within the scope of SYS/SW activities.

b. Perform internal project assessments/audits. Support Internal and OEM assessments preparation and execution.

c. Provide support, coaching and training to all SYS/SW project team members on the Quality Assurance process.

d. Evaluate SYS/SW Quality indicators related to SYS/SW development.

e. Report Project SYS/SW Quality status

3. Focus on Product Quality: Participate in Design Reviews (DR) / Technical Reviews (TR) as defined in the technical review process.

4. Supplier management activities:
a. Define SW Quality requirements for suppliers and subcontractors.

b. Perform external supplier audits (focus on SW processes and deliverables)

c. Participate in acceptance reviews and approve Suppliers deliveries.

5. Approval of the Customer deliveries

a. Conduct SYS/SW Release Readiness Audits. In case of deviations, ensure deviation management rules are respected.

b. Approve SYS/SW deliveries.

a. Participate in the Project QRQC.

b. Ensure that all SYS/SW issues and risks are reported in the QRQC red box resp single list of issues and risks.

c. Support SYS/SW team for problem solving according to QRQC (PDCA-FTA, LLC).

d. Identify Lessons Learned and Best Practices and share them with the Process Improvement organization as part of the standardization cycle.

Education/Training
- Bachelor degree of: Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering or Computer Science.

Professional experience
- 0 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Software Quality Assurance & Software Quality Auditing experience is a plus.
- Software Development / Software Testing experience is a plus.
