**About the role**:
**Primary Purpose of Job**:
Works on moderate to complex tasks in support of one or more projects that require a singular area of expertise. Works as a project team member, or independently on small projects. Increased skill in multiple technical environments and knowledge of a specific business area

Assesses client needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes). Writes and communicates business requirements and functional specifications for the implementation of client solutions. Analyzes client operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to uncover opportunities for improvements

Develops and/or implements reusable components. Performs script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations. Assists with setup and maintenance of test environments for both manual and automated testing.

In this technical role, you will architect enterprise-grade ACUD Services, own the technical relationship and deliverables for a OBS, develop and execute workshops, lead white boarding sessions, author white papers and blog posts, and respond to customer and vendor complex technical inquiries.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To carry out duties under the functional guidance the chief architect relating to the system definition; designing, developing, managing, and assess current digital technology maturity, identify gaps and shape solutions

They should be able to demonstrate expertise in digital and multi-channel technology solutions, covering all layers of the technology stack, from presentation through to physical infrastructure;
To Generate high quality artifacts such as architectural and capabilities roadmaps, requirements, high level and detailed requirements and deployment plans
- Knowledge of EA principles and methodologies
- Proven experience in data migration and ingestion of large volumes of data
- Experience with cloud servers, infrastructure, platform sizing, and cost reduction
- General knowledge of storage: network storage capacity planning, architecture and design
- Good understanding of serverless architectures
- Experience in maintaining, monitoring, and scaling web based platforms
- Good familiarity with designing and operating highly resilient distributed systems
- Understanding of infrastructure transformations, key IT architectural design principles and cost benefit analysis related to IT operational design;
- Understanding of Business Operations and IT Functions beyond technology;
- Advanced understanding of IT server, storage, virtualisation, backup and replication technologies;
- Works closely with architects to assure all systems are in line with ACUD strategy.
- Creates technical design specifications.
- Develops/builds IT solutions to meet business requirements.
- Installs and configures solutions.
- Translates business and technical requirements into test cases, test scenarios and scripts.
- Develops and/or implements reusable components.
- Codes and documents custom test automation frameworks.
- Maintains new and existing object reference files.
- Performs script maintenance and updates due to changes in requirements or implementations.
- Assists with setup and maintenance of test environments for both manual and automated testing
- Builds automated deployments using configuration management technology.
- Deploys new modules, upgrades and fixes to the production environment.
- Documents and completes knowledge transfer to production support.
- Works with Release Management to ensure modules are production ready.
- Validates deployments
- Assists in establishing requirements, methods and procedures for routine maintenance.
- Works with vendors to resolve problems and develop solutions.
- Evaluates vendor solutions to ensure compliance with requirements and cost effectiveness.
- Documents functions and changes to new or modified modules, test activities/results and other areas (e.g., error handling, backup/recovery procedures)
- Assists in the development of user guides and training documentation for systems
- Provides recommendations for the solutions.

**Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. AWS / Azure qualifications

**Experience**: 5-10 years’ experience and recent exposure to the design and delivery of flexible and cost-effective managed services
