Vice President of Finance

**Job Summary**
- The VP of Finance will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring effective management of accounting, budgeting, and financial planning processes. This role is crucial in driving the company’s growth by implementing financial strategies, optimizing pricing models, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The VP of Finance will lead a team to achieve financial objectives while maintaining transparency and accountability in all financial dealings.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Accounting and Financial Management**
- Define and implement appropriate accounting treatments, such as revenue recognition rules and expense allocation methods.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations to maintain accurate financial reporting..
**Intercompany Transactions**
- Manage and oversee intercompany transactions between subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and transparency.
- Ensure proper reconciliation and documentation of all intercompany accounts.
**Strategic Financial Planning**
- Monitor company growth, identifying opportunities to increase recurring revenue through effective financial strategies.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive profitability and optimize cash flow.
**Costing and Pricing**
- Lead the development of costing and pricing models to ensure project profitability and align pricing strategies with market trends.
- Analyze financial data to recommend pricing adjustments and optimize margin growth.
**Tax Compliance and Coordination**
- Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with legal tax treatments and optimize tax planning.
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations and implement best practices for tax compliance.
**Q**ualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field (master’s degree or CPA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or equivalent are highly preferable.
- Proven track record of developing and executing financial strategies and driving business growth.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards.
- Proven expertise in revenue recognition, intercompany transactions, and strategic financial planning.
**Skills**:
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing finance teams.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, such as NetSuite.
