**About the role**:
Mission / Role Purpose

A billable professional consultant who works with clients to develop quality communications solutions in order to solve / address a client’s business requirements. The process starts with the collection and analysis of all pertinent data essential to understanding a client’s requirements; the assessment. The role is that of client advocate and takes responsibility for solution development and design inclusive of the underlying technical architecture, delivery planning and representation of that solution as required. Client facing activities such as presentations and negotiation in conjunction with the account manager is expected.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

As a billable consultant to work both independently and in partnership with consultants from other regions and will be engaged in performing or assisting in following activities:
Security

Security consultant would develop functional architecture, interface points, ports, protocols and APIs, documentation of guidelines and policies.

Security consultant will conduct security assessments and provide analysis on gaps, recommendations on improvements on the security implementation of the client based using best practices an industry wide established and emerging guideline.

Security consultant will possess general and up to date information on the security market and their area of expertise, would be called upon to develop high level design documents, implementation guidelines.

Security consultant would have hands on implementation experience and would also be solicited for FAT, UAT development.

Security consultant would also have intimate knowledge of the leading security vendor solutions in the marketplace and would be required to work with vendors or resellers of these solutions in the development of the compliant solutions to the requirements.

Security consultant will also support activities in the presales phase in developing scope, level of effort and conducting vendor discussions for solution structuring including BOQ and pricing.

Security consultant should have excellent communication and writing skills and demonstrate ability to present complex topics to the client.

The individual that would be hired for the position would be expected to possess timelines, attention to detail, good and timely communication and being able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities in ensuring their completion against deadlines.

Support on site or remote migration for complex solutions/environments, as required.

Provide consulting assessments for new and existing customers.

Ownership of the technical solution from concept to subsequent implementation.

Present technical solutions to partners and their end-customers, both formally and informally, as required.

**About you**:
Skills & Experience:
BSc. in Telecommunication or Computer Science

7+ years’ Work experience with minimum work experience of 1-3+ years in a Consulting role (or equivalent)

Security certification (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet..)

Networking knowledge (certification would be a plus - routers, switches, VPNs

Firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet)

Web Access Gateways

DNS Security

End-Device Security

SIEM

Data security

PKI

IOT security
