**What you will do**:
The Sales Support Specialist will report directly to the Regional Director. You will assist the National Account Mangers in obtaining and keeping customers. The Government Sales Support Specialist serves as JCI’s primary point of contact for Government agencies and DOD Contractors, both existing as well as potential Customers. In partnership with the Government National Account Managers the Specialist is responsible for supporting the complete lifecycle of a Government Technologies Customer to include bids and proposals, installation coordination, billing resolution and follow-on service and monitoring coordination. As such, serves as an intermediary and facilitator between the Customer and the installation, service, and monitoring organizations within JCI. Requires the ability to make real-time decisions to resolve Customer issues.
**How you will do it**:
- Screen, coordinate and assign inbound sales inquiries and provide support for sales team.
- Support the timely execution of and assist in the production of qualification documents, sales proposals, presentation’s, sales promotions, marketing plans and projects, trade shows and various meetings.
- Gather, maintain and develop sales leads through lead sources.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by researching and resolving customer service issues.
- Liaison between internal and external customers.
- Flexible/Adaptive - Ability to learn and work in a fast past environment.
- Communicate effectively with other team members.
- Handle Customer requests and inquiries regarding existing contracts, invoicing, licensing and account information. Work with Customer in managing their day-to-day security activities specific to their agencies' needs. Drive closure/resolution, ensuring responsiveness to customer in very timely manner.
- Daily communication with the sales team on Customers' requests, price changes, new proposals, agreements/addenda status. Participate in National Account Manager meetings/conference calls to discuss account status and any updates with our current and new products.

- Minimum 1-3 years administrative experience.
