This Product Marketing Lead role is centred around a deep understanding of where embedded banking can create value for innovators, and the imagining of what embedded banking can bring to the future of mainstream services sectors such as education, work, health and real-estate. Equipped with that understanding, in this role you would then identify who is best placed to benefit from Weavr’s approach and craft propositions and develop effective ways to bring these propositions to their intended target.

**Here’s what you would be doing**:

- Evaluate our products using relevant KPIs and feedback from existing and prospective customers.
- Market intelligence — be the expert on our buyers, who are they, how they buy and their key buying criteria.
- Understand the competitive landscape — be an expert on our competition and how they are positioned.
- Collaborate with product management and marketing communications to develop product positioning and messaging that resonate with our target buyer personas.
- Develop ideal customer profiles, and develop the case for ideal customers to buy from us instead of doing nothing or choosing our competitors
- Understand and document buyer process, including where they get information, and the _who_, _what_, _when_ and _why_ behind the decisions they make. Develop, possibly iteratively, effective messaging and advocate for consistent messaging, lead sourcing and opportunity qualification in our sales and marketing processes based on what you learn.
- Develop go-to-market plans for the products you support in conjunction with our product and marketing staff, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.
- Test key elements of the go-to-market plan to confirm effectiveness and to maximize impact against effort. Assess the effectiveness of such go-to-market programmes on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.
- Plan the launches of net-new products and releases of existing products, and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
- Act as the primary thought leader for the products you support externally, including speaking engagements and written works.
- Understand and support our sales channels; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers and users; develop internal tools and external collateral and teach them how and when to use it.
**Your experience and background**:
Essentials:

- Product marketing experience with at least 2 years of experience in a market-facing role such as delivering presentations to customers and prospects, conducting competitor analysis and market research.
- Exceptional ROI-tracking skills, able to prove what is and isn’t working. Ability to use data extraction and data analytics tools, as well as Excel is essential.
- Excellent people and communication skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
- Ability to write clearly and precisely, and to explain complex concepts both with and without jargon.

Preferred:

- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing; MBA preferred.
- Confident public speaker, comfortable in front of large audiences and senior / exec roles groups.
