**Job Description Summary**: Determine and minimize the company's worldwide tax liability with the highest integrity while complying with worldwide tax laws. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Handles all wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes including forecasting, tax provision, compliance and settlement.
- Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
- Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
- Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
- Handles data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
- Preparation and submission of WHT and VAT filings in META region.
- Ensure timely payment and submission of all indirect tax returns.
- Participate in tax audits preparation along with external tax advisor.
- Work with other finance and business functions to increase automation of the compliance process and returns.
- Support business and other finance functions with guidance and participate in system projects.
- Manage account reconciliation process.
- Reconciling tax balances on Quarterly basis.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or From an accredited university /college.
- Up to 4 years of experience in Accounting and Tax field.
- This role requires basic experience in the Finance & Tax Operations.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English is a must.

**Desired Characteristics**
- Good communication and Strategic Thinking skills.
- Good knoweldge in Microsoft.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
