Budgeting and Forecasting: ○ Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management. ○ Monitor actual performance against budgets and report variances with explanations. 4. Team Supervision and Mentoring: ○ Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. ○ Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs for team members. 8. Ad-hoc Analysis and Support: ○ Provide financial analysis for special projects, investment decisions, and cost-saving initiatives. ○ Support senior management with financial data and reports for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills: -Education: ○ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred). -Experience: ○ 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior role. ○ Experience in auditing or working with ERP systems is an advantage. -Technical Skills: ○ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books ) and Microsoft Excel. ○ Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations. -Soft Skills: ○ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. ○ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. ○ Effective communication skills for working with teams and presenting financial information. ○ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
