We’re looking for an Indirect Category Manager to join our Commercial team in Egypt.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for multi-site category management, to coordinate the sourcing and management of indirect suppliers such as wholesalers & Backdoors.
- Lead supplier relationship management for major suppliers within indirect categories
- Regular market visits to collect insights, feedback, and market needs from wholesalers.
- Monitor product availability and put plans for cost saving by reducing the value of the lost products.
- Monitoring supplier performance delivery and quality whilst optimizing operational services.
- Lead supplier relationship management for major suppliers within indirect categories.
- Cooperate with different team members, such as Cluster leads, Category managers & Planning Team.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in the wholesale FMCG / B2B industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Proven experience within a strategic procurement/category management role.
- Indirect purchasing experience is essential.
- Understanding of current supplier markets, products, customer demands, and future trends.
- Ability to interface with multiple levels of an organization internally and externally.
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent Organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Advanced mathematical and computer skills.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
