MBIS is the school of choice for expatriate families living in Cairo. Established in 1995, MBIS serves a truly international, English-speaking body of over 300 children, with 50 nationalities represented. The school enjoys the patronage of the British Embassy and is a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME).

We are looking to recruit an Interim Head of School with experience in recruitment and leading/developing a sixth form.

**Applicants must**:

- Hold an Honours Degree/PGCE/QTS/NPQH
- Have thorough knowledge of The UK education system, International School education, and outstanding education provision
- Have considerable experience as a previous leader of a UK/International school

**Interested applicants should**:

- Have consistent and excellent recruitment ability to oversee the recruitment of a permanent Principal and other key staff.
- Have experience in leading/Developing a Sixth Form.
- Demonstrate clear thinking; strategic; and innovative skills.
- Be highly fluent, personable communicator and articulate.
- Be able to build and develop relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a ‘Can do’ approach/pragmatic.
- Be warm, Compassionate, calm under pressure; role model.
- Have a strong sense of purpose.
- Be discreet and culturally aware.
- Be able to provide insightful leadership, nurture and develop future leaders.
- Promote a culture of inclusion within the school community where all views are valued and taken into account.
