Danone MENA is looking for a talented **Public Affairs Manager - MENA** to be based in Cairo, Egypt like you

In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, you will be responsible will assist in the planning and execution of public affairs strategies to enhance the organization's image and influence public policy. This role involves working closely with the Public Affairs team to manage stakeholder relationships, monitor legislative and regulatory developments, and support advocacy efforts in the MENA Region.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing and implementing public affairs strategies and campaigns to support the organization's objectives.
- Monitor political developments, policy changes, and relevant news that may impact the organization.
- Support the management of relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry associations, and community groups.
- Prepare briefings, presentations, and written materials for internal and external audiences.
- Assist in organizing events, such as roundtables, briefings, and conferences, to engage with stakeholders and promote the organization's interests.
- Contribute to the development of advocacy materials, including position papers, submissions to government consultations, and letters to policymakers.
- Coordinate with the Communications team to ensure consistent messaging across public affairs and media activities.
- Coordinate the claim validation process (CVM) cross functionally within MENA.
- Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of public affairs initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.

About you
To be successful in the role you should ideally have:
**Education & Professional Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in science, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the political and legislative process within MENA.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills Arabic, English, and French is added advantage.
- Ability to analyze complex policy issues and develop clear, persuasive arguments.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office

- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Adaptability and flexibility to respond to changing priorities and issues.

**Languages required**:
Fluent in English and Arabic.
