**Are you an experienced Emergency Medicine Consultant looking to relocate to the UK?**

We are recruiting experienced and innovative Emergency Medicine Doctors to join our Gateway Plus Programme and work in NHS Trusts in various locations in the UK. This programme has been specifically created to support middle-grade (ST3 and above) International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to obtain their first role as a Doctor in the UK’s NHS. It allows you add value and to build on your existing experience, working at an appropriate grade to gain new and relevant experience in the NHS during employment.

**About the position**
- You may find yourself working in various settings, such as minor injuries units, at major events, or within regional trauma networks. Since it's a 24/7 service, your schedule will include shifts during evenings and weekends.
- No two days are alike, making emergency medicine a fascinating field. You'll encounter people of all ages and backgrounds, including those injured in traffic accidents, elderly individuals lacking support, and substance abusers.
- You will oversee a team of Junior Doctors and manage general inpatient clinics within the Urgent Care/Emergency Department, ensuring 24/7 middle-grade coverage. A formal and flexible job plan or rota will be established in consultation with the Clinical Director at the start of your employment.

**About you**

To be successful, you will have:

- Possess an MBChB or equivalent medical qualification.
- Hold Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine (MRCEM).
- Maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) and have a valid Licence to Practice.
- Have completed a minimum of four years of full-time postgraduate training (or the equivalent part-time or flexible training), with at least two of those years in a relevant specialty, such as emergency or acute medicine, or as a fixed-term specialty trainee in a relevant area. Alternatively, have equivalent experience and competencies suitable for working at the ST3 level or higher.
- Demonstrate a strong interest in specialising in Emergency Medicine, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and the necessary practical skills for emergency medicine practice.
- Successfully passed an English proficiency test, with a minimum of level B in reading, speaking, and listening (and C+ in writing) in the OET, or level 7 in reading, speaking, and listening (and 6.5 in writing) in the IELTS Academic exam.
