We seek an experienced, well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Physical Education to lead across the Junior and Senior schools. You will be working as part of a highly committed team of specialists delivering the PE curriculum, including IGCSE, and sport as part of the co-curricular programme. The Physical Education Department works effectively as a team across the whole school, sharing ideas, promoting learning and contributing to high academic standards. The school is expanding its provision and hopes to introduce Sport Science in the Sixth Form. - enthusiastic and innovative teacher with a genuine passion for teaching, who can motivate and inspire students using a variety of strategies;
- recent experience teaching PE within the National Curriculum for England and (I)GCSE;
- includes assessment for learning as an integral part of classroom practice;
- understands how to stretch more able students and support pupils;

- enjoys the opportunity to participate in co-curricular activities;
- meets the School’s safeguarding requirements in full.

To comply with Egyptian employment law, applicants must have QTS and a MINIMUM of three years teaching post qualification teaching experience.

**Remuneration**

The British International School, Cairo (BISC) offers a highly competitive tax free salary, paid entirely in Pound Sterling and directly into a UK bank account.
