Introduction

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As an SAP Consultant, you will serve as a client-facing practitioner responsible for selling, leading, and implementing expert services using the breadth of IBM's offerings and technologies. A successful SAP Consultant is considered by clients as a trusted business advisor who collaborates to provide innovative solutions for solving the most challenging business problems.

Your primary responsibilities include:

- Assists clients in the selection, implementation, and support of PM for SAP.
- Lead multiple sized projects as team member or lead to implement new functionalities and improve existing functionalities including articulating, analyzing requirements, and translating them into effective solutions.
- Prepare and conduct Unit Testing and User Acceptance Testing
- Knowledge and experience in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout and post-implementation support.
- Experience in working with teams to prioritize work and drive system solutions by clearly articulating business needs

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 6+ Years of SAP functional experience specializing in design and configuration of SAP PM modules.
- At least 5 E2E implementation projects.
- Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support.
- Should be able to create requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes
- familiar with SAP system and implementation in a corporate environment.
- Strong analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills to compile and explain SAP insights.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Proven work experience in Hana would be an added advantage.
- Certified SAP EAM is Preferable
- Proven work experience in SAP EAM Integration with 3rd party systems would be an added advantage.
