Senior General Claims Specialist

**Role**
- Provide advice on making a claim and the processes involved and guide insured on how to proceed with the claim
- Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim
- Analyses claim circumstances made by insured to satisfy the policy terms and conditions
- Explain to the insured how their claim is not covered
- Identify reasons why full payment may not be made
- Monitor the progress of a claim
- Investigate potentially fraudulent claims
- Prepare an initial estimate of costs and then closely monitor and keep a record of costs
- Get advice from external specialists, such as loss adjusters and forensic accountants, on complex cases
- Handle any complaints associated with a claim
- Manage all administration aspects of the claim and the department.
- Adhere to legal requirements and regulations
- Get involved in loss adjusting activities and in legal discussions relating to settlement.
- Build strong technical relations with the insurers and loss adjusters
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree of any discipline
- 4-5 years of experience in insurance
- Very good Command of English language
- Very Good Communication skills
