Finance Business Planning & Analysis Manager

Accountabilities
- Report to MEA Finance Sr. Manager and MEA Finance Director
- Ensure business decisions are data driven
- Ensure required resources are allocated for revenue planning, market research, business analysis
- Support MEA FP&A processes including consolidation of financials and planning in the systems
- Drive and support financial planning processes, consolidation, and co-ordination with the clusters and ELMAC/WEMEA hubs
- Identify and ensure best practice sharing Responsibilities
- Plan and effectively allocate resources to provide required support to commercial and finance organization
- Provide relevant information for commercial strategy
- Gather quantitative data from internal and external sources and generates insights
- Collaborate with ELMAC / WEMEA business information and data teams to ensure MEA is adopting the same dashboard standards
- Maintain and develop Tableau dashboards to track business performance
- Run and follow up regional market research activities
- Collect affiliate/country level data for KPI tracking and executive reporting
- Manage and support forecasting process and assesses opportunity sizing / demand assumptions for financial forecasting cycles
- Coordinate tight integration of Demand and OPEX assumptions between SME and Finance
- Develop market and financial analyses in support of the product strategy and supports strategic brand planning process
- Support regional project management and cross-functional alignment
- Coordinate with IS to implement systems and processes initiated on both regional and affiliate level
- Support MIP process with affiliate and regional finance teams
- Coordinate and support business/financial presentations, regional meetings, business reviews, townhalls and leadership/operational team meetings
- Develop productive relationships with assigned Finance /Sales & Marketing Effectiveness Country/cluster Leads to define and
- orchestrate the collection, analysis, and communication of secondary market data and strategic insights

**Qualifications**:

- Relevant University Degree
- At least 5-7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry
- 2-4 years of experience in market research, business analysis, finance and marketing
- Integral knowledge of the pharmaceutical business
- Demonstrated experience in working in multinational companies and cross-functional environments
- Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication
- Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Power Query, VBA)
- Strong Experience Knowledge of BI Software (Preferably Tableau but can be also Power BI)
- Strong Power Point Skills

Preferred Requirements
- Advanced degree(s) in Business (MBA) or Science
- Experience in some areas of pharmaceutical sales and marketing
- Knowledge of the buying process in the hospital market
- Track record of successfully establishing and maintaining business processes
- Record of success in participation on and in supporting teams
- Leadership skills with knowledge and ability to work well within a matrix environment to influence successful product commercialization
- Analytical and Strategic thinking with ability to formulate, develop and execute market research plans and strategies
- keen understanding of the science and the marketplace
- Strong numerical skills to participate in planning process and interact with finance
- Ability to champion ideas, focus on results and command respect through exercise of sound business judgment and clear

- Ability to interpret commercial, medical and economic product data and positioning and develop sound analytical data to support
- Strong management skills
