Domestic Logistic Director

- Manage and organize logistics responsibilities in all locations, and oversee the management and implementation of work plans required to effectively meet customer needs.
- Minimize the domestic logistic cost by achieving the best utilization of the available resources (storage areas / available fleet/labor/tools and types of equipment).
- Reducing trucking fees by (implementing preventive maintenance / reducing repair time/increasing loading efficiency/increasing loading rates / increasing truck productivity)
- activate the use of the SAP System for all logistic operations, and work on a digital transformation strategy for logistics.
- Increase customer satisfaction by improving the delivery conditions (On-time / Quality / Elegant contact.) and solving any complaints.
- Increasing the agility required in the logistics operations to cope with the continuous market changes.
- Effectively lead and develop domestic logistics managers to enhance their performance.
- follow up on the result of monthly key performance indicators and the required corrective actions if needed.
- Review the regular reports submitted by the domestic logistic activities to be presented to the BOE.
- Control and manage the annual budget of domestic logistics activities.

**Requirements**:

- Master’s degree in logistics or supply chain, or related field preferred.
- Extensive and diversified background with at least 16 years of related experience.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Inventory management methodologies and tools.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive employee, customer, and cross-functional team relations and drive continuous improvement, and provide accurate reporting.
- Ability to display calmness under pressure and respond positively to a fast-paced, stressful environment.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and prioritizing skills with the ability to seek alternative solutions in response to complications and problems.
- Strong strategic planner with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to gather and analyze information accurately.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in the Logistics industry.
- SAP experience.
