Danfoss Drives is looking for a Senior Power Engineer - Harmonic Design to the further development of our product range.

Are you an experienced power/electrical engineer with strong experience in harmonic mitigations, frequency converter/motor interaction and grid robustness? If so, you could be our new Senior Power Engineer - Harmonic Design.

**Responsibilities**:
You will be part of the Power Circuit Engineering team working with grid robustness, harmonic design and frequency converter/motor interaction of our future products, in close cooperation with colleges from Development, Product Management and Supply Chain.

As a Harmonic design engineer, your overall focus will be to ensure that our products are in compliance with international harmonic standards as well as internal quality requirements. Your focus will be on handling harmonic design aspects and frequency converter/motor interaction. More specially, you will:

- Participate in product development from early requirement specification, detailed design specifications, supplier interaction and verification focusing on grid harmonic mitigations and frequency converter/motor interaction. Focus will be on power options products in form of line harmonic input filters and dv/dt, sine wave and HF-CM output filters
- Build up simulation models and perform engineering test related to grid robustness, harmonic line current emission and drive/motor filter solutions (Matlab/Simulink and Ansys for electromagnetic/multi-physic simulation)
- Participate in international standardization work within harmonic legislation
- Participate in technology work related to harmonic mitigation, frequency converter/motor interaction and cooperate with universities in Denmark and abroad
- Perform troubleshooting and mitigation of power quality issues at customer sites

**Background & Skills**:
You probably hold a M.Sc. degree in Power
- or Electrical Engineering or similar, and you have +8 years working experience with development of power electronics, preferable solutions for harmonic mitigation and frequency converter/motor interaction.

In addition, you have practical experience in defining and testing of harmonic requirements in power electronic systems. You have strong knowledge of power installations (e.g., grids, transformers and motors) and understand the operating environment of power electronic systems.

You have a solid experience with Matlab/Simulink modeling and preferable you have experience with DC-link design, electromagnetic materials and design, and advanced finite element and multi-physics simulations.

On the more personal side it is important that you:

Last but least, you communicate efficiently with colleagues and other stakeholders, and you master English fluently, both orally and in writing.
