YOUR ROLE
The position will work according to defined long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions. The role will work to improve CEVA’s market position and achieve financial growth. The role will work in a senior sales position within the company. It is the role's job to work with the internal team, marketing staff, and other managers to increase business opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for the organization. The role will work closely with other internal departments to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience and that customers are constantly fully informed, updated and satisfied.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
- Responsible for identifying new business opportunities through contact with prospective clients in the assigned market or vertical.
- Assist with responses to Requests for Proposals (RFP’s), preparing presentations and monitoring sales leads and responses.
- Develop and implement sales plans and sales campaigns to take advantage of market opportunities.
- Build strategic relationships with key contacts within customer organizations to understand opportunities for creating value.
- Capitalize on value creation opportunities by working closely with product and operations teams to develop creative workable solutions to customer needs.
- Facilitate cross-selling opportunities to increase revenue and leverage relationships in order to better penetrate the market.
- Facilitate regular meetings with customers and relevant operations staff to evaluate performance and receive updates from customers on challenges and future plans.
- Focuses on re-securing of any lost business, and stabilizes any threatened business.
- Arranges functions and entertainment for potential and existing clients, preparing itineraries for overseas visitors.
- Identify and attend tradeshows and other business functions to keep abreast of developments in the marketplace, to find potential new business, and to market company’s end-to-end solutions.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field of study preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Shipping line experience or forwarder experience preferred to be min. 5 years in Freight Forwarding field.
- Good Knowledge of Airfreight, Ocean Freight, Ground Freight, Contract Logistics products is a must.
- Minimum of five years related sales experience.
- In-depth knowledge of products and services.
- Demonstrated sales success and knowledge of sales concepts, methods and techniques.
- Self motivated and teamwork player.
