Due to our continuing expansion, we currently have an opportunity for an** Assistant** **Highways Engineer **_on_ multi-disciplinary offshore executed projects from **Cairo, Egypt.**

Working in a multi-disciplinary team of designers and engineers providing a professional design service to our clients, this is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to develop their international experience with a world-renowned consultant.

**Requirements**:
**Essential**
- Qualified Degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed College/ Institute.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Have relevant experience in the region of around 2 to 6 years in consultancy business working on highways and related features.

**Desirable**
- Holds a Masters Degree in a relevant discipline

**Responsibilities**

You will be part of the Highways team carrying out the design of a range of elements associated with highway projects. You will be responsible for:

- Design of highway elements
- Maintaining technical quality standards
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Liaising with UK / ME-based customers in a responsive and client-focused manner

**The Individual**
- Be highly self-motivated and ambitious
- Be able to work with guidance/ mentorship from Seniors
- Have the ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments to build rapport with customers
- Be able to build excellent working relationships with colleagues and clients
- Have the experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment
- The position is to be based in Cairo, Egypt
