Our Legal team takes responsibility for supporting the execution of our company's global business and safeguarding its people, assets and interests. We provide critical legal support across all product companies, working closely with the business teams and all of the Legal department's functions.

As the Contracts Counsel, you will provide critical support for the commercial success of the business, including strategic legal advice, contract development, contract execution management, regulatory and compliance advice, and dispute resolution

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Partnering with Leadership team to develop and maintain delivery of effective Legal services
- Providing legal advice to our business on strategic initiatives, partnerships and various growth and profitability initiatives
- Reviewing, drafting, and modifying customer contracts to comply with internal contracting guidelines, and prepares associated documentation and advice
- Drafting, negotiating and obtaining agreement to commercial contracts ensuring that operational/commercial risks are fully understood and minimized
- Providing legal services related to customer & supplier contracts & negotiating routine contract revisions
- Communicating with operations personnel regarding contracting policies, procedures and processes
- Updating contracts database with entries for work performed and review status, and prepares periodic reports
- Conducting contract training seminars for company sales and marketing personnel and other departments.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to management to provide support for assisting in important decision making

**Fuel your passion**

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a Bachelor/Master Degree specialising in Law
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contracts / legal operations (preferably from the Oil & Gas/Energy sector)
- Be able to demonstrate professional experience as Commercial Counsel
- Have experience in end-to-end contract and commercial management for products, services and projects
- Be a good communicator and be fluent in both English and Arabic
- Have good communication and interpersonal skills, and an ability to build trusting relationships with teams and customers
- Be rigorous in approach, solutions focused, and committed to quality of advice
