To strengthen our business team, we are looking for a Key Account Manager (M/F/d) to support our launch in Cairo, Egypt Together with you, we would like to scale and expand our existing business in Cairo.
Your role
As a Key Account Manager (m/w/d) you will report directly to our Head of Growth, Egypt and you will identify and grow business opportunities across Cairo. The following tasks fall within your area of responsibility:
- Identification and acquisition of new (self-funded) corporates, large enterprises, insurance companies, TPA’s and HMO’s.
- Management of existing customers and expansion of customer relationships.
- Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements.
- Achieve and overachieve individual monthly sales targets by delivering business value to our clients.
- Develop our offering and pitch for corporates, doctors and insurances together with our Growth team in Berlin.
- Reporting to the organization through CRM and other reporting tools
- Support in all phases of cooperation with our strategic partners in Egypt, e.g. strategic planning and execution of growth initiatives tailored to the Egyptian market.
- Be the spearhead of Vara in the Egyptian market - you will be on the front line, so your experiences and feedback are mission-critical to taking our company to the next level.
**Profile**:
- 5-7+ years of professional experience in a similar role. Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.
- (must-have) Prior work experience in the insurance or pharmaceutical industry.
- (preferred) Prior work experience in the healthcare / medical field.
- (preferred) Significant network among the top level management of corporates (1000+ employees).
- Fluency in Arabic and English language skills at a business fluent level are required.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive results independently
- Excellent comprehension, very good analytical skills, exceptional commitment, great communication skills and proven ability as a team player.
- Willingness to take responsibility, to contribute to conceptual and operational planning sessions with strong ideas, to handle relationships with partners with an entrepreneurial perspective.
- Strong detail orientation, ability to think outside of the box, and cap to manage multiple projects in parallel in a highly dynamic and ever changing work environment.
