Sales Account Manager

**COMPANY DESCRIPTION**
- The Sales Account Manager is responsible for all Amideast sales activities for assigned projects and/or regions, with the work falling into three main areas:
- Support pre-sales activities by presenting giving detailed information about various Amideast products and services, detailing the ways in which they could meet a customer's needs
- Negotiate pricing and contracts with new customers The actual sale involves negotiating a commercial agreement to the benefit of both customer and Amideast
- Support to Customer care, which follows the client after sale, including, but not limited to customer care, problem may include solving, and issues, as well as exploring additional possibility of further sales opportunities.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Present and sell Amideast products and services to current and potential clients
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify potential customers, customer outreach, and sales targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from from a variety of outreach efforts field activity
- Identify and develop new business through networking, and follow-up calls
- Cold call potential customers in order to generate interest in products and services that have been generated through networking or assigned by management and generate new leads
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and sales reports
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
- Remain knowledgeable of Amideast’s offerings Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
- Manage account services
- Manage accounts through quality checks and other follow-up activities
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including outreach activity, sales reports, and client closings, follow-up, and adherence to set targets and goals
- Collect and report on new product and service opportunities for Amideast through customer, special developments, information, or feedback and gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff
- Work with staff across different departments to compile product offerings for clients accomplish the work required to close sales
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events
- Assist Finance department on follow-up for collection of payment when requested
- Manage your own diary in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals
- Contribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
**QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS**
**_Required_**
- Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Three to five years of outside sales or marketing experience
- Experience developing networks, creating sales leads, closings sales, and developing new sales with current customers
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
- Excellent written and oral English language skills
- Computer literacy in MS Office
- Ability to organize and maintain large amounts of detailed information
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and accept responsibility
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations
- Ability to create, composes, and edits written materials
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires significant local travel and may require occasional overnight travel and weekend and/or evening work
- Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public
- Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients
- This requires the possession of a valid driver’s license within 30 days of employment
- Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel
**_Preferred_**
- Arabic language skills
- Experience in U.S. education and exchange programs activities
- Marketing experience/degree
- TOEIC score of 650 or equivalent
**WORK ENVIRONMENT**
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid basis).
