"TRS has an exciting opportunity for an Offshore Rig Mechanic with Drillship experience to join our leading International Client's project team Onboard SAIPEM 10000/Bahamas based Offshore Cairo, EGYPT."

**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

- According with superior instructions, carry out daily maintenance and check of mechanical equipment ensuring full respect of operative safety rules.
- Be safety minded during in all works and behaviours, use compulsory protective equipment and ensure the same for subordinates Carry out own duties according to the Emergency Preparedness Action Plan.
- Ensure that before any maintenance activity is started, a proper risk evaluation is carried out, precautions are taken and the work permit is signed.
- Attend safety drills and meetings held on the rig.

**QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS**:

- Accredited Diploma or equivalent technical qualification within related field of experience.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as an Offshore Rig Mechanic within the Oil and Gas Industry.
- Must have BOSIET / H2S Opito approved (mandatory)
- Experience on a Drillship (mandatory)
- Valid BOSIET/H2S
- Seaman’s book
- Various professional and training certificates
- Work employment certificates
- Must be vaccinated
