**The team you'll be part of**

Nokia Optics global engineering team is responsible end-to-end to deliver all Optical professional services starting from the network design till validation of new solutions and implementation in customer network.

This team works directly and closely with Professional Services PLMs and customers to understand customer professional services requirements, translate them into deliverables and works across all the IP and Optical functions to lead, develop and deliver on-time results to our customers.

As part of the evolution of Nokia Optical portfolio the team works in strict coordination with product teams in defining, developing and delivering solutions for digital transformation.

The team operates worldwide with distributed centers in different countries.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

We searching for profiles which are strongly interested to work in international and multi-cultural environment and want to develop further their competences around digital/robotic process automation, digital twin, optical system integration which also includes but not limited to, areas like security, health and analytics.

Complete accountability, attitude to work in a team, good documentation skills, good communication skills towards customer and internal teams are equally important to technical background.
- Provide best in class expertise and technical guidance to external/internal partners in the WDM/OTN/GMRE area, anticipating needs and constantly providing support to enhance the team know-how
- Act as contact point for new product attached pre-sales activities as well as technical escalation point on WDM/OTN/GMRE in post-sales.
- Leads early technology & feature implementations, including FOAs etc. as needed by the organization
- Identify and promote process and automation improvements working closely with automation team and delivery leads
- Analyse, define, describe and coordinate technical SMEs to validate solutions for NE transformation
- In collaboration with system architects and integration lead, work to define detailed architecture and design of SW artifacts aimed to automate customer networks.
- In collaboration with system architects and integration lead, work to define detailed architecture and design of SW artifacts aimed to integrate third parties vendors Nes under a single management solution.

You have:

- Must have strong technical expertise on Optical transport technologies with preference on Nokia NE PSS Optical portfolio
- Must have working experience with network management system with preference on Nokia Wavesuite portfolio
- Shall be familiar with ZR/ZR+ based solutions for IP and Optical interworking
- Shall know third parties integration solution for optical networks (e.g. OLS, disaggregated solution )
- Shall know YANG data modeling language in the context of Openconfig
- Shall know Network Configuration Protocol (NETCONF) Must have working experience in testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration) in network management or NE

It would be nice if you also had:

- Experience in network automation domain, i.e. RPA/DPA and BPM and in particularBPMN2.0.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python (preferred), Perl / Shell (Linux / Unix).
- Experience with REST/RESTCONF APIs Network security know how (e.g. vulnerability scanning tools, cybersecurity concepts )

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in IT
- The ability and willingness to travel as per project requirements.
- English written and spoken is a MUST
